
NEW TO HOLY TRINITY?
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is a diverse and active congregation strongly committed to its mission of ‘caring actively in the name of Jesus Christ.’
The congregation, affiliated with the Virginia Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, has been described as “liturgically vibrant, theologically relevant, spiritually enriching, and socially aware.”
Organized in 1903, the congregation is one of the larger, dynamic Lutheran congregations in Virginia and serves the central Virginia region, with members and friends coming from Farmville, Keysville, Pamplin, Bedford, Big Island, Altavista, Clifford and points in between.

What worship opportunities do you offer?
On Sunday mornings at Holy Trinity we hold services of Holy Communion at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. We also have a mid-week service of Holy Communion every Wednesday at 12:10 p.m.
Is childcare provided?
Is the building handicap accessible?
Yes! Our church building features an elevator to safely transport those unable to use the stairs between our first and second floors. We also have a drop-off area in the front of the building to provide direct, easy access to the main entrance.
Where can I learn more about what it means to be a part of HTLC?
New members are received into the congregation through Holy Baptism, letter of transfer from another congregation, or by affirmation of faith. Classes are held periodically throughout the year to provide an overview of Lutheran church history, theology, liturgy, the church year, ecclesiology, and life at HTLC.
