A wide range of engaging youth ministries are offered that include opportunities for fellowship, service, worship, mission trips, and Christian formation.  Youth groups in grades three through twelve meet on a regular schedule and also participate in Virginia Synod youth events. Since 1988, the Senior Youth have participated in a triennial Luther Heritage Tour and visit to our German sister parish. Holy Trinity Lutheran Church has three Youth Programs:

  • The Intermediate Youth Group for grades 3-5.

  • The Junior Youth Group for grades 6-8.  This group meets individually and with the Senior Youth Group for special events.

  • The Senior High Youth Group for grades 9-12.  A highlight of this group is the opportunity to go to Germany on a Luther Heritage Tour.  This tour is held every three years.  Lots of fundraising events are held to make this workable!

Those in grades 5-12 have the opportunity to attend the VA Synod Retreats at Eagle Eyrie each year.  It’s always a great time being with others around the state, growing faith and having fun!

Where do we meet generally meet?  In the HTLC Youth House at 1004 Langhorne Road.  To find it: go out the front doors of the church and it’s the house to the left. IT’S A GREAT PLACE!!!

Check out our Youth Highlights Calendar for a complete list of upcoming events. A monthly schedule of all youth events is publicized in The Beacon at the beginning of each month and on a weekly basis.
